ClassicNetMan | |
The ClassicNetMan is utilised in conjunction with NetBase; the Remote Management System developed by Mitec.
Together with NetBase, the ClassicNetMan constitute a complete system for remote management.
NetBase is capable of handling numerous NetMan units. Storage of configuration data and programming and polling the NetMan units are achieved automatically.
ClassicNetMan is the remote agent device, connected to the remote object(s) to be managed. When being off-line the ClassicNetMan is capable of collection, isolating, diagnosing and reporting maintenance data from a variety of resources.
Managed objects include hardware devices like; PBX's, computers or multiplexes, or software applications like; system logs, event logs, voice mail systems, Interactive Voice Response (IVR) or database systems. Information may be stored for a later retrieval or forwarded immediately to NetBase in a notification call.
