Release of Event Manager 5.1 (EVM)
Mitec Group announces the release of Event Manager 5.1. The Event Manager (EVM) provides flexible and intuitive monitoring of MD110 PBX networks based on HP OpenView™ Node Manager.
The Event Manager combines complex functionality with high usability, and provides tools that use a graphical user interface (GUI) for the visualization and monitoring of MD110 PBX networks, plus monitoring of D.N.A. Application Suite and OneBox services from one interface.
In addition the 5.1 version offers following additional features:
•WebSwitch root node is located together with the other root nodes for MD110, OneBox and DNA AS
•The WebSwitch root sub map displays all the managed WebSwitch Nodes.
•Each WebSwitch node has a sub map with a service node displaying the overall alarm status of the WebSwitch.
•Alarms result in color change of the corresponding symbol. The color propagation is set accordingly to the event description in the WebSwitch MIB.
•All WebSwitch alarms are showed in the alarm browser.
•The Alarms Handling Application shows the active and stored alarms for each specific WebSwitch.
